Jeffrey Kemp has dedicated his life to helping young people. He has over 30 years experience working with teenagers in Australia. Founder of “Asteros“, a two part groundbreaking wilderness intervention program in Australia. With many years as a school counselor working directly with young people, overseeing support programs for 135 schools, and also a part time lecturer with Queensland, Australia’s Griffith University and St. Michael’s College. Jeffrey has alot to offer professionals, parents, and young people with his experience in rehabilitation and counseling.
Linda McKinney has been working with “at risk” youth for over 18 years. With “Passages to Recovery” Linda is helping young men over eighteen years old come out of addiction and reach their full potential. Over the years she has committed herself to the rehabilitation of young people and the guiding of their families through difficult times. Her expertise, experience, and compassion are well known in United States; helping young people free themselves of dangerous addictions is her passion. An independent review panel of anti-trafficking and child welfare professionals considers projects submitted by our partners and recommends which ones to fund. Qualified organizations and professionals then implement approved projects. This means that more children lost to trafficking will be rescued and rehabilitated. And solid prevention programs will keep vulnerable children from being victimized.
Passages To Recovery is a clinically integrated 12 Step addiction and substance abuse treatment program set in the pristine wilderness of south central Utah. Operating within majestic red rock canyons and high mountain forests, our wilderness treatment program has been designed specifically as a drug rehab for young adult men. We employ an innovative dual-diagnostic approach to addiction treatment, addressing alcohol and substance abuse, chemical dependency, and co-occurring mental health issues via traditional interventions, a 12 Step program, classic wilderness therapy, a full battery of psychological tests administered by a clinical psychologist, and research-based methodology.
